In the news report headlined `RBI acts to rein in inflation', published in the edition dated February 14, 2007, it was wrongly reported quoting analysts that the real growth in the economy comes to around 2.62 per cent.

The 9.2 per cent growth is already adjusted for inflation.

The error is regretted.
