Logistics - Supply Chain Management
Partners in parcelling

Europe's Dachser, the international logistics provider employing 15,000 people in more than 250 locations around the world, has been working for more than 10 years in partnership with India's AFL, the Mumbai-based logistics company with presence in 400 locations, including 16 hubs and 46 hi-tech warehouses all over the country. The two companies have now launched a 50:50 joint venture, AFL Dachser Pvt Ltd. This follows AFL's decision to hive-off a part of its business and integrate it into the joint venture which will have 30 branches in India. AFL Dachser enables Dachser, which is engaged in expansion of its global logistics network, to offer its customers worldwide direct access to a growing economic region and the Indian customers a competitive edge from the company's European overland network.
