Visakhapatnam, Feb. 19

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) set a national record by unloading 19,750 tonnes of low ash metallurgical coke on February 16 from the vessel, m.v Golden Gun, surpassing the previous best discharge of 19,030 tonnes of lam coke on July 21, 2003. The cargo was imported by Jayswals Neco Ltd, Nagpur. Bothra Shipping Services were the stevedores and agents, while Esskay Shipping Pvt Ltd were the C&F agents.
