Bangalore Feb. 20 Mr T.C. Mehta has been elected as the Chairman of the Bangalore Branch of the Southern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

On assuming charge, Mr Mehta exhorted the fellow chartered accountants to change their conventional thinking and adopt modern professional practices.

He also asked the practicing CAs to organise themselves to form bigger groups facilitating delivery of solutions to meet the expectations of the clients.

Mr Mehta also assured the members that the Bangalore Branch would be equipped with modern technology to improve the efficiency and services. During the year, efforts would be made to enhance facilitations to the students to cope with the larger inflow of students to the Branch for coaching and training.
