Visakhapatnam Feb. 20 The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) has introduced land-pooling system for the planned development of the Visakha metropolitan region.

The system enables farmers and landowners to take up joint ventures with the VUDA in developing integrated layouts and to enjoy the ownership on plotted area in accordance with the land investment ratio, according to a press release issued by the VUDA.

Landowners and farmers can join hands with the VUDA in developing layouts. They will have to hand over the lands to the VUDA and they will get the plotted area in return.

They will be spared of all the hassles in obtaining the required clearances for change in land use and other permissions.
