Karnataka Bank launches new product

Mangalore Feb. 20 Karnataka Bank Ltd has launched a distinct savings bank account product under the name `S.B. Soulabhya'.

A bank release said here on Tuesday that the holders of `SB Soulabhya' account will have various privileges and can avail themselves of a host of services and facilities free of service charges.

The new scheme provides facilities such as access to the bank's ATMs free of charge, anywhere cash withdrawals, anywhere cash deposit, debit card facility, Internet banking facility, mobile banking (SMS alerts only), demat account, cheque collection facility, multi-city cheque facility, subject to certain terms and conditions.

The bank opened its 405th branch at Panipat, Haryana on Tuesday. It wants to take the total number of branches to 415 by this fiscal.
