Opto unveils new product

Bangalore Feb. 20 The Germany-based Eurocor GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Opto Circuits India Ltd, has launched a new product - Dior that is used in coronary angioplasty procedures. Opto circuits plans to launch it soon in India after necessary approvals from the Government.

Dior helps in alleviating the problem of narrowing of the artery due to cells growth in a patient implanted with stents.

Anything between 10 per cent and 30 per cent of the patients depending on the stent used, suffer from the problem of narrowing artery due to cell growth.
