New Delhi Feb. 20 Low-cost airline IndiGo is offering one lakh tickets at fixed rates of Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000.

First-cum-first serve

In a statement the airline has said that these tickets would be available on a first-come-first-serve basis from February 21 and passengers can start travelling as early as February 26. The promotional scheme is available for travel till June this year.

"The rates that a passenger pays for a ticket is largely dependent on the distance that is travelled. A passenger traveling Delhi-Hyderabad and Delhi-Chennai would be charged Rs 1,000, while it would be less for other sectors," a senior airline official said.

The passengers would, however, have to pay the taxes and surcharges on the tickets. Tickets can be booked at various outlets including the airline Web site www.goindigo.in.

The airline currently flies to 13 destinations including Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Imphal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Vadodara.
