Oriental Bank's AP biz touches Rs 5,000 cr

Hyderabad Feb. 21 Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) has touched a total business of around Rs 5,000 crore for the Andhra Pradesh region, where it has a network of 49 branches.

The entire network offers online facility as it is equipped with core banking solutions. A centralised credit processing cell has also been established in Hyderabad to ensure speed and efficiency for proposals of Rs 50 lakhs and above. The General Manager, AP Region, Mr V.K. Kamboj, said the bank has been active in various developmental projects in power, infrastructure, housing etc. in the State. The bank celebrated its 65th Foundation Day.
