Rs 14 cr for revival of PSUs

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 22

The Kerala Government has announced working capital assistance of Rs 13.85 crore for revival of loss-making public sector undertakings in the State.

The companies given the assistance are: Autokast (Rs 1.50 crore), Traco Cable Company (Rs 3 crore), Steel Industries Kerala Ltd, (Rs 1.20 crore), Travancore Cements (Rs 2.50 crore), United Electrical Industries (Rs 2 crore) and Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Company (Rs 3.50 crore).

These apart, the Kerala State Palmyrah Product Development and Workers Welfare Corporation will be given a work capital assistance of Rs 15 lakh, according to an official release.
