R.S. Software (India) Ltd has recorded a net profit growth of 92 per cent during the nine months ended December 31, 2006. In absolute terms, the company's net profit during the nine months ended December 31, 2006 stood at Rs 6.78 crore compared with Rs 3.52 crore recorded during the corresponding nine months of last fiscal.

According to a company release, R.S. Software generated a total income of Rs 77.38 crore during the period April-December 2006 against Rs 69 crore in the nine months ended December 31,2005. The profit before tax was Rs 6.86 crore (Rs 3.58 crore). The release states that the company has made significant breakthroughs in closing new businesses with large existing clients. It has opened a sales outfit in Canada.
