Aurobindo to sell ARVs in Botswana

Hyderabad Feb. 22 In a single stroke, the Hyderabad-based Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has obtained registrations for nine of its anti-retrovirals (ARVs) from Botswana. The company announced that the DRU (drugs regulatory unit) of Botswana has registered Lamivudine and Zidovudine tablet, Zidovudine oral solution 50 mg/5 ml, Nevirapine oral suspension 50 mg/ml, Lamivudine oral solution 10 mg/ml, Nevirapine 200 mg tablet, Stavudine 30 mg capsules, Stavudine 40 mg capsules, Lamivudine 150 mg tablets, and Lamivudine 300 mg tablets. The products are used extensively in the management of HIV positive patients.
