Coimbatore Feb. 22 The international textile machinery exhibition being held this time in Munich, Germany, between September 13 and 20, will allow visitors to order their entry badges online. This means the visitor can save up to 45 per cent of the entry price.

The visitors, who can register on www.itma.com/registration, will receive the online voucher via e-mail, which he/she can exchange for a visitor badge on site in Munich, thereby avoiding waiting time on the trade fair grounds, according to a communication from Ms Haleema Sayed from the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and India, representative of Munich Fairs. The holders of visitor badges would be entitled to access the Munich public transport, including the underground railway network and airport shuttle, free of cost.

The globally reputed ITMA fair is hosted once in four years by the European umbrella organisation CEMATEX, comprising nine European member associations, which is also the owner of ITMA. CEMATEX has chosen the German textile machinery trade association, VDMA, to stage the current edition of ITMA.

This year, the fair is expected to attract about 1,00,000 visitors and 1,300 machinery exhibitors from all over the world. More than 90 machinery exhibitors from India are expected to display their products in the Munich fair.
