RIL board to meet on pref warrants

Mumbai Feb. 23 The board of directors of Reliance Industries Ltd will consider a proposal to issue warrants worth Rs 15,000 crore on a preferential basis to promoters of the company.

The warrants will be issued at the current market price. This preferential issue will help the promoter to shore up their stake to nearly 55 per cent, said a company source.
