Wockhardt Hospitals plans IPO

Mumbai Feb. 23 Wockhardt is looking at going in for an IPO for its hospitals business later this year.

This would depend on market dynamics and valuations, Mr Khorakiwala said. Wockhardt Hospitals at present runs clusters of super-speciality hospitals in different parts of the country, including Mumbai and Bangalore, besides having dedicated heart hospitals in Bangalore, Nagpur and Hyderabad and a super-speciality kidney hospital in Kolkata. Wockhardt shares were marginally down at Rs 330.75, on the BSE.
