Jishnu Sen joins Grey Worldwide

Mumbai Feb. 23 Grey Worldwide India has announced that Mr Jishnu Sen has joined the company as Mumbai Branch Head. He will assume responsibilities for Grey Worldwide and will report to Mr Nirvik Singh, Chairman and President, Grey Global Group South and South-East Asia.

Making the announcement Mr Nirvik Singh said, "Jishnu a thorough-bred advertising professional comes to us with close to two decades of experience from JWT and Y&R. Experience that cuts across categories and geographic boundaries."

Mr Jishnu Sen said, "The opportunity to lead Grey Worldwide in Mumbai is an exciting point of my professional career. I look forward to partnering with the team in creating powerful branding ideas grounded in consumer understanding that has a single minded objective — to help our clients win in the marketplace."

Mr Jishnu started his career in JWT and rapidly rose up the ranks. He crossed shores and worked in Singapore, Hong Kong and the US. His responsibilities panned brand strategies and their implementation across India, Asia Pacific and the US over various projects.

His diverse portfolio pans ITC, Pizza Hut, Pepsi, GSK, ESPN, Star Sports, and the Indian Army campaign in the early years. He also led and won the Reckitt pitch for JWT.

At Y&R, he assumed client-servicing responsibilities with complete charge of all categories in the Colgate Palmolive stable for Asia Pacific. Based out of Singapore and Hong Kong he achieved success in centralising and synergising the advertising development for the region.
