ADDING VALUE: A farmer drying grapes on his farm at Gangapur in Nashik, 180 km from Mumbai. The grapes are dried for 12 days and then sold as currants for Rs 80-90 a kg in the market. On the other hand, fresh grapes fetch very lower prices.
