Shell opens first outlet in Mangalore

Mangalore Feb. 26 Shell India Marketing Pvt Ltd on Monday announced the opening of its first retail fuel station in Mangalore at the Lady Hill area.

A company release said here that the outlet is committed to creating employment opportunities in the local community and will be taking in 45 people at the site.

Quoting Mr Surinderdeep Singh, Managing Director and Retail General Manager, the release said: "In Shell, everybody from the site crew to the tanker drivers is committed to delivering quality fuels, in the right quantity, with efficient service every time."
