Mumbai Feb. 27 Gold BeES, India's first gold-exchange traded fund from Benchmark Asset Management Company, has collected around Rs 100 crore in its new fund offer (NFO) period, sources said.

The fund has received around 15,000 applications from individuals across the board, sources added. Investors can buy or sell units of the fund, once it is listed on the exchange.

Authorised participants have also subscribed to some of the units in the NFO. The fund was open for subscription from February 15 and closed on February 26.
