Satellite township to come up in Medak dist

A consortium of Tishman Speyer India Master fund, ICICI Venture Fund Management Company and Nagarjuna Construction Company would establish an integrated self contained satellite township at Tellapur village in Medak District.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 5,356 crore. The township is expected to come up in 400 acres with a proposed population of 42,000, according to an official press release here on Tuesday.
The representatives of the three companies led by Ms Catherine (Tishman Speyer), Mr Kishore (ICICI Venture Fund Management) and Mr Raju (Nagarjuna Constructions), along with Mr Jayesh Ranjan, Managing Director, Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) and Mr Piyush Kumar, Project Director, ORR met the Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and discussed the forthcoming project.
The township will be completed in phases over a period of five years.
Tishman Speyer has built, developed or acquired more than 145 investments totalling 80 million sq.ft. with a total value of $27 billion across the US, Europe and Latin America with additional developmental and investment initiatives in India and China under way.
