A seminar on "Organic Agriculture - Rejuvenated Health and Environment' will be held here on March 2. Organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI - Western Zone), it seeks to address topical issues that confront farm and food — sustainability, quality, health, and environment — in addition to lack of awareness about farming practices among small/marginal farmers, irregular supply of raw material, complicated certification procedure and related issues. Experts from Indian and international organisations including Food and Agriculture Organisation, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development as also leading organic producers and certifying agencies would participate and share their expertise and experience.
