The company reported a total sale of 53,707 vehicles (including exports) for February 2007, a growth of 19 per cent over 45,113 vehicles sold in February last year. The passenger car business unit reported sales of 21,322 vehicles in the domestic market in February 2007, an increase of 19 per cent while Tata Indica reported sales of 12,580 units, a growth of 19 per cent. The Indigo family registered sales of 3,436 units, a decline of 6 per cent over February 2006.
The company's exports stood at 4,526 units in February 2007 as compared to 4,257 units in February 2006, an increase of 6 per cent.
