Bangalore, March 1

IBM and Google have collaborated to offer a software that allows users of IBM's WebSphere to integrate Google Gadgets into their Web sites. These small applications make the site more informative and personalised for enterprise users.

WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Portal Express Version 6.0 users can now create, customise and use Google Gadgets directly from within WebSphere Portal so they appear as ready-to-use services. This will be at no additional cost and will be available in April at: http://catalog.lotus.com/wps/portal/portal. Users can choose from nearly 4,000 Google Gadgets including language translators, package delivery tracking, Podcast search, Wikipedia and You Tube. IBM also announced a `search sitemap' utility.
