For achieving the highest growth in revenue in non-SSI sector in Kozhikode region during 2005-06, Peekay Rolling Mills Ltd was honoured by the Central Excise Commission through an award.

Mr P.R. Chandrasekharan, IRS, Commissioner of Central Excise, Calicut, presented the Samman Pathra to the company on 24th February 2007, a press release issued here has said. The Peekay Group has paid Rs 25 crore towards Central excise duty and service tax for 2005-06 to the Central Excise Department, Calicut circle.
