New Delhi March 5 Genpact, a BPO company, on Monday announced that it has acquired Netherlands-based ICE Enterprise Solutions, a SAP service provider to MNCs across Europe. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ICE comprises 220 professionals generating pro-forma revenue of 36 million euros. It has clients in manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas, insurance and financial services.

Mr Pramod Bhasin, President and CEO of Genpact, said that the acquisition "perfectly matches the needs of today's global clients who are looking for business process service providers with broad and deep technology capabilities."

He added: "This acquisition further strengthens our ability to provide seamless, end-to-end solutions for our customers."

Some 70 per cent of Genpact's strategic customers run on SAP.

Mr Cok Volgering, Founder and CEO of ICE, said: "We are impressed by Genpact's commitment to quality and this industry, as well as its open and embracing culture. We are excited to be part of a growing enterprise that has so much promise for SAP clients worldwide."

Genpact has ERP, application and IT professionals based in India, China, the UK and the US.

It is also one of the world's largest providers of Oracle e-business suite solutions.

Genpact was created by GE and became a separate company in early 2005. In the past two years, Genpact has grown its workforce to more than 27,000 professionals.

Services are delivered from 24 operations centres in seven countries, plus Holland and Spain now with the acquisition of ICE.
