A 500 MW boiler drum for the Vijayawada Thermal Power Station's extension project was flagged off from the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Tiruchi. A special 24-axle rail wagon, carrying the giant boiler drum weighing around 215 tonnes, was flagged off from the BHEL campus by M.V.V. Rao, Director (Projects), Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation, in the presence of
