The annual Plan of Chhattisgarh for 2007-08 has been fixed at Rs 7,413.72 crore inclusive of additional Central assistance of Rs 35 crore for projects of special interest to the State.
This was decided here at a meeting between the Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, and the State Chief Minister, Dr Raman Singh.
In another Plan outlay fixation meeting with Meghalaya, the Plan panel has approved the State's annual Plan for 2007-08 at Rs 1,120 crore, inclusive of Rs 73-crore additional Central assistance for projects of special interest to the State.
The Meghalaya Chief Minister, Mr J.D. Rymbai, held discussions with Mr Ahluwalia on the Plan priorities and programmes of his State, an official release issued here said.
