Hyundai clarifies

With reference to the news item headlined `Hyundai plans to set up LCV plant at Pune' that appeared on the front page of Business Line on March 5, 2007, Hyundai Motor India says: "The news report does not portray the facts correctly. As far as Hyundai Motor India is concerned they have neither acquired any land in Chakan nor any investments made for the LCV project.''
