Bangalore, March 8

Real estate company Sobha Developers Ltd has appointed OMS (Optimum Media Solutions) as its media agency. OMS is the specialist media independent belonging to the Mudra Group with domain expertise in media planning, buying and implementation. The appointment is with immediate effect, said an OMS press release.

Mr V.P. Muralidharan, Business Director, OMS, said, "We are proud to partner South India's leading real estate brand in becoming an even bigger national player. The key reasons for OMS winning Sobha's media duties are our understanding of the nuances of the real estate space, and how Sobha can be differentiated as a brand compared to other players in the category. This led us to providing unique strategic media solutions to Sobha." The real estate company's revenues reached about Rs 628.4 crore in the financial year 2006. The profit after tax was Rs 88.48 crore, and in 2006, the company constructed about 4 million sq ft of area.
