SBH launches 20 ATMs

State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has launched a record 20 ATMs on a single day in Andhra Pradesh (12), Karnataka (3) and Maharastra (5) on Friday. The bank's total ATM network in the country now stands at 371.

The Hyderabad-based bank has issued more than 1.25 million ATM cards. The average daily usage has crossed 300 in most of these centres. The cash dispensation at the bank's ATMs has exceeded Rs 500 crore every month. SBH also opened a new ATM facility at the Begumpet Airport. Mr R.K. Singla, Director, Airport Authority of India, inaugurated it, while Mr R.P. Sinha, Chief General Manager, explained the details of the ATM network. In Hyderabad alone it would now have 75, according to a bank press release.
