SBT cuts home, education loan rates

Thiruvananthapuram, March 9

State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has reduced the floating interest rates on housing loans up to Rs 15 lakh and all educational loans outstanding in its book as on February 14, by 50 basis points.

The bank has also reduced interest rates on all housing loans and educational loans up to Rs 4 lakh sanctioned from February 15 by 25 basis points and 50 basis points, respectively, according to a release from the bank.
