Software Dream Tekis' HR solution for SMEs Anjali Prayag
Bangalore March 9 Dream Tekis, a Bangalore-based company, has launched a Web-based HR software system. SohamHR offers end-to-end services in the people management area starting with recruitment, employee administration, organisational management, absence management, payroll benefits, compensation, time management and training. "As it is Web-based, it is highly configurable, user-friendly, offered in different modules and can be up and running in a few hours time," says Ms Rani Paruchuri, CEO, Dream Tekis. It can also be installed at 55-80 per cent of the cost of other HR solutions available in the market, she adds. SohamHR is targeted at the SME sector, irrelevant of the industry. Any organisation employing 50-5,000 people can use the software effectively, says Ms Paruchuri. "The reason it's more effective in the SMEs is that the product can be used in modules suited to each industry," she says. For instance, recruiters buying the software can opt for only the resume extractor feature of the product, while companies can opt for much more. Dream Tekis has received enquiries from West Asia and Ms Paruchuri says that the company is now working on an Arabic version. Dream Tekis is expecting to post a turnover of Rs 60 lakh this year and Rs 2 crore by March `08.
