ONLY TWO OF ITS KIND: A bus plying through the Katakhal rail-cum-road bridge at the National Highway No. 44 near Silchar town in Cachar district of Assam on Sunday. This is one of the only two active rail-cum-road bridges in the world. The other bridge is in the Dhemaji district of Assam. The Katakhal bridge connects Shillong to Silchar in Assam, Aizawl in Mizoram and Agartala in Tripura.
