Maruti Udyog starts first driving school in Coimbatore

Coimbatore March 13 Maruti Udyog Ltd is launching a modern car driving school in the city, the first one of its kind to be started in Tamil Nadu by the small car-maker.

The driving school, to be managed by the city-based Maruti dealer, Ambal Auto, is modelled on international training centres and course content and equipped with modern facilities including a hi-tech simulator to provide the virtual driving environment for the trainees.

The 21-day training module (theory, simulation and practical) for the beginners as well as to those seeking advanced driving training will adopt training methods covering driving skills, traffic education, emergency handling, tips on fuel efficiency and basic maintenance of the vehicles, besides providing exposure in attitude and road-behaviour.
