Hindustan Paper Corporation (HPC) Ltd has won the MoU Excellence Award for performance during the financial year 2005-06. Mr Raji Philip, Chairman and Managing Director of HPC and Chairman of Hindustan Newsprint Ltd (HNL) received the award from the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, at a function in New Delhi recently.

The company registered an all-time high sales volume of 324,259 tonnes with 211,209 tonnes of writing and printing paper and 113,050 tonnes of newsprint, achieving a sales turnover of Rs 1,045 crore against Rs 855 crore during the previous fiscal.
