DIP IN ARRIVALS: A worker engaged in grading cardamom at a godown near Kochi. Arrivals during the current season have declined due to continuous dry spell in major growing areas. Total arrivals this season are estimated at 6,300 tonnes against 7,250 tonnes during the same period a year ago. The drop in arrivals has led to increase in prices.
