UTV, Fox forge tie-up

UTV Motion Pictures and 20th Century Fox have announced their tie-up for the co-production of director M Night Shyamalan's latest film The Happening. The movie has a budget of $57 million. UTV and Fox will co-produce and share the global revenues equally.

Mr M. Night Shyamalan is one of Hollywood's top 10 directors of all time. He has directed hits such as Signs, Sixth Sense, The Village and Unbreakable among others. In this latest Sci-Fi thriller, The Happening, Mr Night returns to his "Signs" genre.
