New Delhi March 14 ICRA Ltd foresees business opportunities from the implementation of the Basel-II accord by banks.

"It is only at a proposal stage," Mr Naresh Takkar, Managing Director of ICRA, maintained, when asked to comment on what initial steps ICRA was taking to take advantage of the proposed implementation of Basel-II by banks.

He was addressing a roadshow for the public offering of 25,81,100 equity shares of Rs 10 each of ICRA Ltd at a price to be decided through a 100 per cent book building process through an offer for sale by IFCI, Administrator of the specified undertaking of the Unit Trust of India and State Bank of India.

ICRA, with about 56 per cent of its revenues coming from rating services, also sees good growth prospects in the infrastructure space in the coming days.
