Reliance Retail in talks with Carrefour

New Delhi, March 14

The retailing arm of Reliance Industries Ltd, Reliance Retail is reported to be in talks for a tie up with French firm Carrefour, the world's second largest retailer.

According to the report the talks are at an advanced stage for a controlling stake or a joint venture. However, when contacted by Business Line, company officials declined to confirm the development but said, "The company could be talking to anyone."
