The DTH disconnect

With the direct-to-home (DTH) TV market getting competitive, private players are understandably trying to push their products in a big way. But one private company lost an opportunity to make its case with a senior Cabinet Minister in the capital. Having ordered a DTH connection, the Minister received the set at his residence, but had to wait for it to become operational. His patience held out for three days after which he sent the equipment back to the company and opted for good old Doordarshan.
