Chennai March 15 India is shining, illustriously. An Indian company taking over a global player whose turnover is many times higher, is remarkable.

It's really great to see that a lot of Indians are occupying top positions in global companies and one must realise that one is fortunate to be here in the growing phase of the country, said Mr Mahesh Dyaram, Director and CTO, NEXGE Technologies Pvt Ltd, to the pre-final engineering and MCA students of Audi Sankara College of Engineering and Technology, after inaugurating the Business Line Club.

Information technology helps bring together companies of the same industry and also various verticals. "IT revolutionised the world we live in." It seamlessly connects people. "For example, mobile phone. It's no longer just a mobile phone. It has radio, you can take pictures, you can watch movies, you can pay your bills," Mr Dyaram said emphasising that there is no limit for innovation and technological growth.

Calling upon the students to be creative, Mr Dyaram said students must relentlessly pursue their dreams. "To convert your dreams into reality, be yourself as by copying somebody else you will stand to lose."
