Re-tender for Vizhinjam terminal

Thiruvananthapuram, March 15

The Kerala Government has cleared global re-tendering for implementing the proposed international container trans-shipment terminal at Vizhinjam, near here. Earlier, an all-party meeting had suggested floating of fresh global tenders for the project. The nodal agency for the project will be Vizhinjam Seaport Ltd instead of the Directorate of Ports. The company has also been entrusted with the global marketing of the project, according to an official statement.
