Ahmedabad March 16 Navneet Publications (India) Ltd, well-known manufacturers of educational and children's books and paper stationery products, on Friday launched a new range of premium stationery products in Gujarat under the brand name, FfUuNn Full Marks + Fun.

The non-paper stationery range comprises eco-friendly and non-toxic pencils, erasers and sharpeners and for the first time uses latest technology based on international standards, Mr Kalpesh H. Gala, Vice-President (Stationery Division), told a news conference here.

These products are competitively priced and the company has used a non-Navneet brand name for the first time to market its products.

Navneet Publications is also set to launch full colour range of crayons in the near future, he said.

In June 2005, the company had acquired the publishing business of a Spanish company with the brand `Grafalco', a major children's book publisher of Europe.

India's total stationery market is around Rs 4,500 crore, with paper stationery accounting for Rs 3,000 crore and non-paper Rs 1,500 crore. Of this, branded paper stationery market is worth Rs 500 crore. Today, the company publishes over 4,000 copyrighted titles in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi and many other Indian and foreign languages.
