2 Star channels in HK

Star Networks has launched Star One and Vijay on `now TV' their exclusive distribution partner for Hong Kong. Star Plus, Star News and Channel [V] India are already a part of the `now TV' offering. Star One has the popular shows Nach Baliye and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge among others and is now airing Koffee with Karan. Vijay TV is the network's Tamil general entertainment channel.

"We are delighted to expand our partnership with `now TV' through the launch of Star One and Vijay," said Mr Bruce A. Oltchick, Executive Vice- President, Advertising Sales, Distribution and Marketing, STAR. "We greatly value the opportunity to broaden our Indian entertainment channel offering by bringing these two popular channels to our South Asian subscribers," said Ms Janice Lee, Executive Vice President, Television and Content of PCCW, the company that owns `now TV'.
