Britannia Industries has formed a joint venture with Khimji Ramdas Group to run two bakery product companies in the West Asia market.

In a press statement, Britannia said that the company and its associates have acquired 70 per cent beneficial stake in Dubai-based Strategic Foods International LLC and Oman- based Al Sallan Food Industries Co SAOG. The two companies export their products like cookies and biscuits to over 70 countries around the world. Both of them have a combined annual turnover of over Rs 160 crore with brands such as Nutro, Family Choice and Bakers' Pride.
