Alliances & Joint Ventures Rajesh Exports, Muthoot group tie-up Our Bureau
`Shubh' is a brand owned by Rajesh Exports. The tie-up promises to offer "excellent pricing to consumers" compared to other brands selling gold coins. According to a press statement, the coins will be sold at online gold prices to the customers. An advanced software solution has been developed to provide live and online gold price across all the outlets of Muthoot. (The Muthoot Pappachan Group has 450 outlets in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.) The software will also manage and maintain an online inventory of gold coins for all the outlets. According to the release, the Muthoot Pappachan Group will also "extend its `Swarnavarsham' scheme to the buyers of `Shubh Muthoot' gold coins, which is expected to further facilitate the purchase of the gold coins due to availability of easy finance to fund the purchases." Mr Rajesh Mehta, Chairman of Rajesh Exports, said, "We are pleased to have a joint venture with the Muthoot Pappachan Group which would bring in revolutionary savings product at the most affordable."
