New Delhi, March 22

ESPN STAR Sports has launched special value packs of its Mobile ESPN feature. These include customised packages for regular updates on cricket, international soccer, English Premier League and sports news in voice and SMS formats.

Mobile ESPN, according to the company, is targeting 10 million subscribers by 2012, and is currently available on Airtel, Hutch and BSNL networks. "There is a huge market to be tapped as there is a growing audience for sports such as soccer, motorsports and tennis. Cricket still remains the most popular game in the country," said Mr Sricharan Iyengar, Head - New Media Business.
