Asian Paints plans capacity expansion

New Delhi, March 22

Asian Paints Ltd plans to set up new production plants and expand the existing ones for augmenting its capacity. As part of the plans, it will double production at its Sriperumbudur facility in Tamil Nadu from the present 50,000 Kl to 1,00,000 KL in the next one year. The company has launched Colour Next 2007, its research-based annual trend forecasting initiative and predicting colours that would be prevalent this year.
