HPCL Vizag's record throughput

Visakhapatnam, March 23

HPCL's Vizag refinery has achieved a record throughput of nine million tonnes for 2006-2007, according to a release. Mr A.S. Rao, Executive Director, congratulated the employees and said that the milestone was made possible due to the dedication of the workforce. He urged the employees to continue in the same manner. The refinery is likely to close the fiscal with 9.2 million tonnes. It has also made significant improvements in safety management, achieving 4.52 million safe man-hours up to February, the release added.
