Esprit expects Rs 75-cr turnover

Mumbai, March 23

Madura Garments expects to make Esprit a profitable brand this year. Having registered a turnover of Rs 20 crore in the past 15 months, Esprit expects to achieve Rs 75-crore turnover this year. Speaking to newspersons, Mr Vikram Rao, Director, Aditya Birla Nuvo, said: "Esprit has been the most successful and complete lifestyle brand launch in India. As Esprit unfolds its many faces of Lifestyle, it will go to create an even greater consumer franchise for itself." Having set up 14 stores in the country, the brand plans to add another 15-20 stores this year. "We expect to make cash profit this year and are looking at revenues of around Rs 75 crore this year."
